Coffee Brewing

I’ve started Christmas shopping this morning, I know I know… I should’ve started long ago but here we are! Let’s first acknowledge that the holidays heavily encourage consumerism (that’s an understatement). With that being said, I am trying to walk the fine line of providing “lower-waste/lower-environmental impact” gifts without being pushy toward my gift receivers about my own personal interest in reducing my carbon footprint over my lifetime.

Easy solution – COFFEE! Everyone I’m giving gifts to this Christmas drinks coffee regularly. Therefore, my plan is to buy a variety of bulk bin coffee brands and flavors. If you’ve used the bulk bin coffee grinders (or even the Costco coffee grinder), you know that there are several settings to choose from to determine the coffee particle size. Particle size is one of the many factors that impacts your brew, as it is brilliantly described by Coastal Coffee Roasters. Visit their website and learn about the other factors that impact your brew by clicking this link: https://www.coastalcoffeeroasters.com/brewing

Coastal Coffee Roasters also made this beautiful Grind Reference guide, which I want to share with you! I don’t know why, but this guide makes so much sense to me and I wish I would’ve found it sooner!
