Have you ever been to the Minnesota State Fair?
If you have, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve visited the Miracle Birth Center and may have even been one of the lucky ones to witness life being brought into this earth! It’s an exciting experience and continues to bring in visitors twelve hours a day during the fair.
The Minnesota State Fair is all about tradition and the Miracle Birth Center is the first stop for a lot of people. The birth center has accompanied the state fair for a vast time and has seen a sudden spike in interest amongst visitors. In fact, the Miracle Birth Center was voted WCCO viewer’s choice for best exhibit at the State Fair this past year.
This agricultural education exhibit has increased in popularity alongside Ag Tourism. There appears to be an increased interest in visiting farms, learning more about agriculture, and agriculture tours in the recent years. That’s why I’m quite excited and honored to be a part of the first ever MC Ag Tour has to show! I believe that people want to feel connected and informed about where there food is coming from! With scare tactics and various advertising, YOU want to know the truth. That’s what I’m here for! I’m not making new discoveries; I’m informing you on the FACTS.
Stay tuned to see how the MC Ag Tour goes this coming week! We’ll be exploring farms, visiting an agri-technology company, seeing the processes of production mills, touring CHS’s food processing and wholesale operation, and so much more! I will be attending this Agriculture Tour to make connections between the agricultural and nonagricultural circles in efforts to ‘bridge the gap’ (we will later discuss) and educate all about modern agriculture. Through this tour and the latter posts, my wish is that you leave with a better understanding of Agriculture today!
